Welcome to my first Blog Post. I will confide, I’m not exactly sure what to write here and since I’m rarely at loss for words, that’s unusual! So bear with me while I get the hang of things.
First, an introduction: My name is Eliza M.T. Andrews, PT, WCS. The PT stands for Physical Therapist, the WCS is Women’s Health Clinical Specialist. I am the founder and owner of Inspirit Therapy Associates, located in Green Bay, Wisconsin. I have been a PT for 19 years. I was one of the first Board Certified Women’s Health Clinical Specialists in Wisconsin, earning that designation in 2009 (the first year the certification was offered).
Inspirit Therapy Associates is an outpatient Physical and Occupational Therapy Clinic. We are very different from many clinics. Our focus is an expanded approach to treatment. All of the methods we use to treat are “hands on”. We only treat one person at a time. We have private treatment spaces–no “gym” here! We also don’t have any big exercise equipment. But what we do have is the latest technology, the most current treatment approaches and some of the most experienced therapists in Northeast Wisconsin.
Our website has detailed information about all of the diagnoses we treat and the methods we use to treat them. We have training in many very specialized modalities and I will share details about them here in the upcoming articles.
The intention of this blog is to share MEANINGFUL therapy and health related articles. Some things here will be original works–written by the staff at Inspirit and some may be re-posts. There really are a number of VERY good blogs out there, so from time to time I’m going to , with permission, share the wisdom of my fellow PTs and other professionals. I hope you will find it to be a good resource for easy to follow, helpful accurate information. Please let me know what topics you would like to see here, and I will do my best to follow through for you. For additional information, please check out our website at http://www.inspiritpt.com
