Having a baby is one of life’s most humbling experiences. No matter what one did prior to starting a family, trying to balance the demands of motherhood with the other responsibilities in one’s own life can be challenging. However, it is possible to find a balance in all aspect of life after pregnancy.

Our Bodies

Without health, we are unable to perform optimally in every aspect of life. The better we feel, the more positive we become about other aspects of life. That is why eating nutritiously, getting enough exercise and finding time to rest are all important factors in staying healthy.
What you are feeding your body is an important part in finding the balance in your life after pregnancy. Eating sugars and high fat foods tend to make people feel sluggish and irritable. Before putting something in your mouth, ask yourself if this will contribute to your goals and healthy lifestyle you want to achieve.
Along with eating well having enough “down-time” to maintain a healthy immune system is key. Therefore, rest needs to be a priority over cleaning house, doing laundry, or making beds. Ask for help!

After having a baby it is easy to get disconnected with friends and family because the demands are overwhelming when having a new baby. Take time to remember that they are the ones who love you and will support you. These are the people that you can for some help from, it will also be a good way to connect with them.

Our Passions

Psychologist have discovered an association between passion and ones immune system. Having a passion  in life is suggested to boost immune function, you have to find way to create excitement in your life. When you find excitement in living, your relationships will dramatically improve with your partner, friends, and children. Most importantly, you’ll feel good about yourself!
