Eliza Andrews, PT, WCS
With nearly 20 years as a PT and over26 in the rehab field, Eliza brings a background that includes acute care, long term care, athletic training, home health and outpatient to her clinical expertise. Since 1998, Eliza has been focusing her career on two areas of outpatient physical therapy: Gender specific diagnoses and chronic pain diagnoses.
In 2009, Eliza earned her Women’s health Clinical Specialist designation. As the first WCS in Wisconsin and one of only 157 nation-wide, Eliza has demonstrated her advanced skills related to women’s specific health needs and earned honors in her field. In 2005 Eliza was named 2nd runner up in Advance for Physical therapy’s Physical therapist of the Year Awards.
Julie Rider, OTR, CLCP
With more than 17 years of experience as an Occupational Therapist (OT) in a variety of setting, Julie possesses a wide range of skills to promote health by enabling individuals to perform meaningful and purposeful activities. As an OT, she uses a holistic perspective; in which the focus is on adapting the environment to fit the person and the person as an active part of the therapy team.
Using a fully integrated approach, Julie will partner with you using an in-depth analysis of your activities to identify areas of strength and weakness. Together you will set goals to allow you to physically participate in your daily life, including self care, household management and your ability to work productively. These goals will be obtained by learning to control pain, increase strength and range of motion, along with recommendations for modifications to work and home environments.
Julie believes in self-directed learning. She and her patients set goals using strategies such as: movement therapy, stress and sleep management, breathing techniques, energy conservation and time management techniques, therapeutic exercise and modalities, along with biofeedback. Patients are encouraged to take an active part in controlling pain symptoms and ability to function in their daily activities.
Cheryl Hanson, PT
Cheryl Hanson has been a Physical Therapist for over 30 years. Her experience is a valuable asset to her patients and to Inspirit Therapy Associates. Cheryl has a wide variety of skills including craniosacral therapy, strain-counter strain, soft tissue rehabilitation, and orthopedic rehabilitation. Throughout the course of her career, Cheryl has developed a focus in the integrative management of her patients. With a kind, empathetic ear, she believes in the importance of listening to her patients in order to truly develop the most appropriate program for that person. Cheryl focuses her treatment on more that just the physical problems, but how those issues affect all of that person’s life. Cheryl is also involved in the pool therapy portion of the clinic, which allows her to expand her treatment skills beyond that of the clinic
Erika Vogels, Massage Therapist
Erika has been a Massage Therapist since 2006. She started her career in Milwaukee, Wisconsin as a Therapist at a spa and a Massage Instructor at the Aveda Institute of Beauty and Wellness. As an instructor, Erika taught all aspects of massage from anatomy and physiology, to pathology, ethics, and hands-on massage skills.
Erika moved back to the Green Bay area in November, 2008 and started her own practice at Inspirit Therapy Associates. Erika is licensed in the state of Wisconsin, nationally certified by the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork, and a member of the American Massage Therapy Association.
Erika’s passion for massage therapy shows through in her work, where each massage is customized based on the needs and goals of the client. Erika uses various techniques, including deep tissue work, stretching, breath work, and relaxation methods. She can also work on specific areas on tension in the body or do a total body massage for ultimate relaxation
Jane, Front Office
Jane has been our receptionist since 2011. She handles all of the incoming calls, schedueles appointments, reminders, pick ups, and greeting patients. Jane is the ideal welcome person with warm and friendly greetings and she enjoys getting to know our patients and their families.
Rachel, Office Manager
Rachel has been with Inspirit since September, 2005 when Inspirit was founded. Rachel takes on a variety of tasks including insurance billing, authorizations and follow up; patient account maintenance and collections, medical records request processing, coding and charge entry, medical software dictionary upkeep, insurance network contracting, and many others. Rachel is a key compontent to making sure our patients recieve the care they need and help them with any insurance question they may have.
